Dan has extensive knowledge of electrification and the challenges across transport and energy, working with operators, OEMs and suppliers to facilitate the technology and supply chain development of Power Electronics, Machines and Drives for current and future electrical systems.

Dan comes from an aerospace background, with a Masters in Aero-Mechanical Engineering from University of Strathclyde. He has spent 6 years with Rolls-Royce, starting as a design engineer in their supply chain business before moving onto System Design where he worked with aircraft OEMs and Rolls-Royce supply chain to deliver system level design of future engines, ultimately leading delivery of engine designs for customers. Dan then supported Rolls-Royce customers in the aftermarket business as an interface between customers and the Rolls-Royce services business. 

He works across a multitude of sectors from industry, energy and transport and supports organisations in their need to accelerate their PEMD supply chain capabilities and processes in electrification.
